In a pivotal meeting at IESE Business School in Barcelona on February 27, 2019, Chamrosh and BlockTac aimed to introduce the first Blockchain-Based “Smart Carpet” focused on verifying the origin and craftsmanship quality of Persian Handmade carpet in the early 2020
Amir H. Roshanzamir, the founder of Chamrosh startup, indicated that our team has worked very hard since early 2018 to devise a new technology by integrating the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, the QR Code and smart tag to be embedded in the carpet in a way, when scanned, shows an immutable identity and digital certificate of it. The technology is also leveraged with a mobile application to easily prove the origin and verify the authenticity and has the potential to track the provenance and full journey of a carpet to the customer’s mobile in a form of storytelling and digital certificate.
Chamrosh has already developed an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of blockchain-based smart carpet in January 2019 which can be seen here.
A Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is a carpet with just enough features to receive feedback from potential customers and investors on its viability and to carry out troubleshooting on the early prototype.
Amir, says that “We are pleased and grateful in our collaboration with our respected friends Paco and Enrique of BlockTac in Spain, whose technology and support were instrumental to develop our Minimum Viable Product (MVP).”
